Who We Are


Omega has extensive resources and expertise in customer and employee services, operations, sales, marketing and professional services in many industries and markets. The company was founded in 1984 by John Alexander Maraganis, an entrepreneur with more than 25 years of service industry experience. Omega is located in Billerica, Mass., about 25 miles northwest of Boston, with partner relationships throughout the United States and internationally.

Omega was an industry innovator in the early 1980s. John Maraganis was a principal in a software company that developed the first commercial off-the-shelf field service management software, “fieldwatch.” This market has expanded to include what we now recognize as the customer relationship management (CRM) industry. 

More recently, Omega’s innovation has produced the
NorthFace ScoreBoardSM Award  program, established in 2000 to recognize companies who have developed world-class service organizations; and the Customer Satisfaction Annual Report , which provides independent certification of a company’s customer satisfaction excellence.

The latest industry first from Omega is the SCORE Conference -- Symposium for Customer Operations and Relationships Exposition -- which  began in 2003. This is the only conference in the world where CRM executives from customer service, sales, marketing and human resources gather to focus on best practices in building loyalty management strategies to drive business growth through advances in customer and employee satisfaction and retention.
